Sterling Goddess Broach Artisan Signed Santa Fe
This
is a fantastic artisan signed piece of wearable
art. The style is timeless. It could be considered
Pre-Columbian or Post Modern in style. I do not
know how old it actually is. The signature kind
of rules out it being ancient. It is not marked
925, but she passed the acid test for silver.
It's a broach but it could be worn as a pendant.
The
lines on the back bottom that look like scratches
are not. It's the way the silver cooled. The
words Santa Fe are located there. Above it
is Olin. Could be the name of the studio.
The JR is very easy to see. She measures a heart beat
short of 2". The photos are larger than life.
The
lines for her hair and breasts are not etched.
The silver is cut. Guess I should have selected
a colored background. She is an amazing little
image of the Mother Goddess.
